I fancy the organic starship Lexx, which played with dragonfly design.
My favorite space ship was in my way back machine when I first saw the movie,
SPACEMASTER X 7. Look that up in your Funk & Wagnel Encyclopedia.. Ah the early 50’s.
Anyone remember that one? Modern times I have to go with the Millennium Falcon.
I always thought Liberator, from the first 2 seasons of Blake’s 7, was a great starship. Some other favourites are Fireball XL5 from the Gerry Anderson show of the same name, and the Angel interceptors from Captain Scarlet, although I guess they are atmospheric fighters rather than starships. I also like the design of the Klingon D7 class battlecruiser.
Don’t forget the ship ‘siyane’ from GS Jennsens’ amaranthe series. Complex and intuitive just like you want an advanced AI.

The fabulous Dora from Heinlein’s Lazarus Long in Time Enough For Love. No picture of her that I’m aware of, but I can see her clearly in my mind’s eye!
