No Tiptree? or Butler? disappointing, but i did approve of the choices listed, we just need a longer list, and I would order them very differently.
Some of these books are well loved classics from my childhood. But I agree, no Butler? Great list though!
I’m proud to say I have/read 9 out of 10! FYI: CYTEEN by Cherryh isn’t available in Kindle; only in paper and audio. Otherwise, I’d have 10/10. But since I couldn’t get CYTEEN, I did buy THE PRIDE OF CHANUR which I’ve read but had forgotten to replace my paperback with Kindle, so it’s all good! 😜
I started reading Sci-Fi when i was about 6-7 yrs old and am 78 now. So this shows how much better it has become. I have read all of Ann McAffereys writings. Even thse not of the Sci- Fi type.
I still purchase the books of the Queens of Sci-Fi and have added quite a few of the new Ladies. These Ladies are awsome and deserve our support in all they do. SO LETS GIVE THEM A BIG HAND AND FOLLOW THEM FOREVER.
