Why is starship troopers on a time travel poll? It has nothing to do with the subject!
Why isn’t Dr who no1?
TV show over all the years is better than books
TV time travel shows should have their own poll. Off the top my head, I remember Time Tunnel, Quantum Leap, The Voyager, to start another list.
I wish I could vote for both of these incredible series. Saga of Pliocene Exile by Julian May / The Company series by Kage Baker. Both are excellent and more people should read them.
On the other hand, I can’t see why The Lensmen and The Gap cycle are on the list. I don’t remember any real time travel in them. (Still it has been decades since I read either of them.)
I agree about Saga of Pliocene Exile, but I ended up voting for 1632 series, which is also amazing. These are the best two series on the list. Unfortunately, I doubt many who are voting in this poll have even heard of the Saga of Pliocene Exile series since it was written in the 1980’s. The follow-up series, The Galactic Milieu, was also excellent.
I agree, I don’t recall any time travel in either the Lensmen series or the Gap series (although it has been a long time since I read the latter).
What about the axis of time books set during world war 2
Why are To Sail Beyond the Sunset by/ny Robert Heinl(k)ein and (The) Door into Summer by Robert Heinlein/Heinlein listed twice?
I would like to recommend books by Douglas E. Richards, especially, A Pivot in Time and The Enigma Cube, as well as his latest book Immortality Code
